My name is Brian Mason. I work out of my home in Wayzata. I've worked with computers since the 3rd grade. My first computer was an Apple II with 32K of memory! I was a translator in at Field Station Berlin in the Army for three years. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the U of MN (B.A. Economics - with Quantitative Emphasis). That's as dry a field as it sounds! So I started Computer Update in the summer of 1996 and have found it to be a rewarding experience. I was a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE 2003) and have been re-awarded (12th year) MVP status from Microsoft for my help in the SMS 2003 and System Center Configuration Manager online communities. I also work for a major financial company where using Configuration Manager, I manage over 420K workstations and servers.
Update: I wrote a book back in 2012. Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager: Administration Cookbook and was the tech reviewer for the second edition.
